Flat Plan Task

How does the flat plan link to the contents page?
It links because it shows you what you should put on the contents page and it is easier for the production team to understand what will be put on the contents page.

How many different types of content are there?
 There are 7 :
Articles
Posters
Adverts
Reviews
Subscriptions
Interviews
News

What percentage is adverts/editorial?
When we calculated it we found that 16% of the magazine was made up of adverts.

Is this magazine mainly text or image based , or is there fairly even balance?
This magazine is mainly text based but does have its fair share of images on some pages.

How does the "look" , style , layout, colour scheme, typography , reflect the musical genre?
The musical genre is indie rock and they express that by using soft colours such as blue and white on the front page and throughout the magazine with hints of red now and again. The layout and the style also reflects the musical genre because its clear and kind of cryptic.

How does this task help you with understanding how to plan a contents page in your own magazine?
This task  helps me because it shows me what I need to do to have a clear understanding of what to put in my contents page and also so I don't get confused.
